I may help you also to get rid of bugs, but seems I am messing around with the player desgnation which has the very bad backeffect to make the creeps silly.

please make a rough sketch even, I ll promise to help and debug pb's.

Well, its not exactly easy... You have to be able to read JASS and know a bit of it as well. Well if enough people wanted it, I suppose I could work on it. :)

we could have the map 6v6 working for normal modes (ap or ap)
leave the xl,aa,as,... and other modes.
remove all obs stuff
this is many useless stuff you won't have to worry for 6v6, and therefore time saved

I just went to check out the new version of DotA, and it has about 8000 more lines of Jass code than the last version that I made 6v6 on :( . I haven't opened a War3 map since I released the last version (about 10 months), so give me some time to relearn a few things.

At first I'm just aiming to recreate the basic game modes (ap/ar/em). Don't expect to see a functional end game scoreboard with 6 players on it either. It'll take some time, but I want to make a regular thing out of updating the DotA maps into 6v6, and perhaps make a program to speed the process up.

It's an active project for me though as of today.

I think you shoudl get rid of XL,LM, and other modes that make 6v6 complex as well as obs and scoreboards.

as I said this is still possible but for some reason, I did it incorrectly as creeps were acting weird... as If i assign a bad player ID for the 6th and 12th player.

Sounds fine with me xantan. Even if I release it now and you both plan to pick it up it in the future that's fine as well, as I'd rather have you and deaf working on it than me. So just let me know if that ends up being the case and I won't interfere.

For now I'll go ahead as planned.
