Torrentspy Acts to Protect Privacy
Sorry, but because you are located in the USA you cannot use the search features of the Torrentspy.com website.Torrentspy's decision to stop accepting US visitors was NOT compelled by any Court but rather an uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy and an apparent tension between US and European Union privacy laws.
I usually use this site for most of my searches, but also use torrentscan.com and ThePirateBay.org.
However this warning reminds me of our government try to gather documentation on all ip's of users trying to download torrents. As many of you know The Pirate Bay was taken down a while ago by associations of the RIAA and MPAA who forced the Minister of Switzerland to send a force to confiscate TPB servers. However they came back up in only 3 days and they are suing against the force that stole their servers because their Copy Right laws were not broken. However in the US the Copy Right law exists and they try their best to enforce it no matter what they have to do, as you can tell by the TBP.org case.
So myself, I guess I'm gonna lay low on dling torrents of copy rights and pretty much torrents at all so I don't get accused of infringement on copy rights.
Just wanted to post it out there, that if you live in the US, take care cause they are trying to gather your IP's so they can catch you in the process. I know it's an invasion of privacy, but our government has been bought out by the RIAA, MPAA, and any other organization that is willing to suck enough dick to get what they want. It's one reason I never buy movies or cd's and surely never listen to Metallica or Dr. Dre, cause they were the one's that started this when it all began with Napster
